Taking the waters, still expanding water

Part of a bigger pictorial mapping project of the waters of Buxton from sorce to the River Wye. I followed contributory to the moors above Buxton and painted the journey of the water as watery lanscape and water close ups. This painting is set in Sherbrook wood, where the water expands into the bowl of the vally befor disapering under the road through a kind of plug hole Like leaf soaked bath water.
